Nearly 200,000 pounds of ready-to-eat pork sausage is being recalled because of possible product contamination.

According to the FDA, various flavors of Monogram Meat Snacks “Duke’s Shorty Sausages” may be tainted due to product contamination.

All of the products come in five-ounce packages.

The FDA says the recall is being initiated due to product tampering, following the production process.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 795” and were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
