BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Early on Monday morning, the Louisiana State Police and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office were asked to respond to a pole being knocked over on Siegen Ln. near Quail Ridge Ave.
A car struck that pole and power went out for those in the area around 2:30 a.m.
Entergy says that they are working to restore power to affected customers and everything should be fixed in the next couple of hours.
As of 8:15 a.m., Entergy is reporting that 560 people are currently without power in East Baton Rouge Parish.
No one was hurt as a result of this crash, according to the Louisiana State Police.
LSP is still investigating this early morning crash.
