BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – This story has a purrfect ending.
Over the past two weeks, the St. George Fire Department has been asked to perform two rescues.
In both cases, cats had become stuck inside car engines.
On October 24, members of “Engine 663 worked for about an hour to remove a kitten,” according to the St. George Fire Department.
Firefighter M. Kling is pictured below with the kitten that was rescued from the car engine.
Six days later, the St. George Fire Department was called to another cat rescue.
As you can see in the featured image, crews with Station 63 took a cat out of a car engine on October 30.
