BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — With spring making a return, the Red Stick Farmer’s Market is reopening seasonal markets starting on Tuesday, April 11.

The Red Stick Farmers Market will host a group of farmers and food artisans every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Main Library on Goodwood Boulevard. Vendors will be set up in the plaza in front of the library. Guests can shop for local fruits and vegetables, fresh items, prepared foods, and more. The Tuesday market will feature music from local musicians and bands.

Beginning Wednesday, April 19, the Red Stick Farmers Market will open the mobile market from 9 a.m. to noon at the ExxonMobil YMCA.

The Red Stick Farmers Market happens every Thursday and Saturday year-round, and every Tuesday and Wednesday seasonally. The Saturday market is in downtown Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to noon and the Thursday market is from 8 a.m. to noon at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center which is located at 6400 Perkins Rd.
