According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, wide receiver Michael Thomas has reached a 5 year, $100 million extension deal with the Saints.
This contract makes Thomas the highest paid WR in NFL History.

The New Orleans Saints are gearing up for training camp Friday, but one star player has not arrived to the facility yet.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, wide receiver Michael Thomas has not arrived to training camp, and won’t until his new deal is done.
The Saints and Thomas have been working on a deal for quite some time.
According to Rapoport, the two sides have not come to an agreement yet.
In June, NFL insider Dianna Russini reported that Thomas and the Saints were close to a monster deal in which Thomas would surpass the salary of former Newman product Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham makes an average of $18 million a year.
Thomas was drafted in the second round in the 2016 NFL draft out of Ohio State University.
This is the final year for his rookie contract.
Thomas is coming off a career year in which he caught a franchise record 125 passes and 1,405 yards.
For his career, Thomas has had 321 catches for 3,787 yards and 23 touchdowns.
