BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a blaze on Prescott Rd.
Upon arrival, firefighters immediately went to work putting out the fire.
BRPD was able to extinguish the fire and “contain the fire to the bedroom.”
The home sustained $10,000 in damages.
There were no injuries as a result of this fire.
A person living at the home “stated she heard a loud boom and discovered the bedroom on fire,” according to the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
Fire investigators are working to determine what started the fire.
