Survivors of the three most recent federally declared disasters in Louisiana who still have needs left unresolved by other disaster recovery avenues are encouraged to contact the Disaster Case Management Program for help in planning their path to recovery.
The DCMP case manager will advocate for the survivor with the closest Long Term Recovery Group to assist with resources for the survivor’s unmet needs. The contact number is 844-581-2207 or via email at DCMPinfo@la.gov. and there are 19 Long Term Recovery Groups covering the state.
Volunteer, faith- and community-based organizations may fill the recovery gaps of many survivors. But those with more long-term needs may be better paired with a DCMP case manager. The case manager will work with the survivor and the Long Term Recovery Group nearest the survivor’s home.
