BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- The Sacred Heart of Jesus School honors Dr. Charlotte Marionneaux Barrow Bertrand as their Distinguished Graduate from the class of 1984 for her outstanding personal and professional achievements.

Bertrand actively engaged in school activities including participation as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, volunteering at the Fall Fest athletic events and— contributing to the annual eighth grade school trip, according to Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart recognizes Bertrand’s endless efforts and sacrifices in the healthcare community; for 25 years she’s worked as a pharmacist— hosted flu and health screenings clinics at Sacred Heart School and hosted diabetes workshops at the Sacred Heart Church.

Bertrand also served in other service areas– including the Pastoral Council of Ministries, Community Service Leader, Social Outreach Commissioner and more.

Bertrand has also been married for 25 years and shares two children with her husband, both children graduated from Sacred Heart of Jesus School.
