New Orleans Saints cornerback P.J. Williams, who just ended the season with his team’s Super Bowl journey cut short, is accused of drunken driving, officials said.
Williams was arrested during the early morning hours Wednesday and booked into the Orleans Justice Center, according to his inmate booking information from the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Williams, whose real name is Kenneth Williams, was arrested on charges that include driving while drunk and careless driving.
The Saints player bailed out from the New Orleans jail a few hours later.
New Orleans police have not commented on Williams’ arrest.
