Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving meals feed 3,000 people

(WVLA-GMB)–BATON ROUGE, La– Major Donald Tekautz says cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 3,000 people is a labor of love. Several volunteers started prepping days in advance.

Gonzales Locations

10:30am – 11:00am                First United Methodist Church, 224 West Constitution Street, Gonzales

11:00am – 11:30am                Magnolia Crossing Apartments, 2824 S. Burnside Ave, Gonzales

North Baton Rouge Locations

10:30am – 11:00am                Scotland Square, North Baton Rouge**

10:00am – 11:00am                4025 W. Brookstown Drive, Baton Rouge

11:00am – 11:30am                Spanish Arms Apartments, North Baton Rouge**

4:00pm – 7:00pm                    7361 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge (Drive through pick up)

Major Tekautz says the volunteers and the workers at the Salvation Army are all happy to put a smile on so many faces this Thanksgiving.
