LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – A Satsuma man is behind bars on accusations of using a camera to capture images or video of others in private situations.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), a months-long investigation into the case revealed 38-year-od Christopher Johnson as a suspect.

A camera was found in Johnson’s home and investigators say evidence in the case dates back to 2019 and 2020.

LPSO says Johnson was charged with 40 counts of video voyeurism and has been jailed with a $1,000,000 bond.

Sheriff Jason Ard indicated that LPSO’s investigation into the case remains ongoing and additional charges are possible.
