SBA approves more than $1.2 billion in disaster assistance loans

NEW ORLEANS, (BRPROUD) – Small Business Association (SBA) District Office for New Orleans announces updates of more than $1.118 million dollars of disaster loans ‘given’ directly to homeowners and small businesses in Louisiana—making it a total of $1.2 million distributed in disaster assistance loans.

According to the news release, other updates include— a new deadline of May 31, 2022, for the Economic Impact Disaster Loan applications; for businesses and nonprofits who have suffered a loss of income due to Hurricane Ida.
