Assumption Parish Sheriff Falcon’s Second Annual Prayer Breakfast was held Monday morning March 19 at Politz’s Restaurant in Napolenville.

The annual event was an opportunity to bring leaders of all religious denominations together to discuss concerns in the community and gives religious leaders the opportunity to establish a connection with the Sheriff’s office.

“In this current day and age, many crimes are solved and, in many instances, prevented when parishioners look to their leaders for help or guidance.”

Additionally, churches have been instrumental in providing assistance to persons suffering from addiction to drugs or alcohol by connecting them to law enforcement. Sheriff Falcon hopes that through this event his office and the church communities can grow stronger together.
