SEE IT: 3-eyed snake found in Australia

For any animal, sneaking up on a snake is not be easy.

Sneaking up on this snake would probably be even more difficult as it has three eyes.

This snake was found by Rangers for the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Commission in Australia.

It was located on a highway near a town called Humpty Doo.

According to the Commission, “their first thought was the snake may have had two separate heads at one point that were somehow forged together.”

The Commission said, “an x-ray revealed the snake has one skull with an additional eye socket — and the third eye actually works.”
