U.S. Sen. John Kennedy, of Louisiana, weighed in on the high-profile Jussie Smollett case after the actor had all charges against him dropped.
Kennedy called the case another example of Hollywood privilege. Smollett’s attorneys said Tuesday that the actor’s record had been wiped clean.
Smollett had been indicted on 16 felony counts related to making a false report that he was attacked by two men who shouted racial and homophobic slurs.
