When firefighters arrived at 5142 Blair Ln. “the fire was through the roof,” of a fourplex, according to the St. George Fire Department.
A fire that started in Unit D of the building resulted in serious damage to the structure.
SGFD said, “a significant portion of the buildings roof has collapsed.”
This equipment was used to put the fire out:
- 6 engines
- 2 ladders
- Rescue truck
According to the St. George Fire Department, “firefighters fought the fire very aggressively and did a remarkable job of preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings located only about ten feet away.”
The fire was under control at 8:08 a.m.
Support personnel, chief officers and the Red Cross assisted the St. George Fire Department at the scene of the fire.
The St. George Fire Department says firefighters have the blaze under control.
The St George Fire Department is at the scene of a working fire at 5142 Blair Ln.
It is a two-alarm fire and we are sending a crew to the scene.
