Warrick Dunn is doing it again!
Along with Aaron’s, Inc and Habitat for Humanity, Dunn is providing help to a single mother in the Capital City.
The single mother and her family used to live in Plaquemine.
Organizers said the “home comes stocked full of furniture, appliances, and technology valued at approximately $10,000 from Aaron’s, Inc.”
The surprise is happening this afternoon in downtown Baton Rouge.
According to organizers, “the home furnishings and a $5,000 mortgage payment as a gift to the new homeowner is a result of a partnership between Aaron’s, former NFL running back Warrick Dunn, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge and Catholic High School.”
Dunn graduated from Catholic High School in 1993.
Today’s surprise is made possible through the Warrick Dunn Charities’ Homes for the Holidays program.
Organizers said Habitat for Humanity provides “an affordable and safe home for qualifying individuals.”
