Slam’d & Cam’d Car Show date, celebrity guests announced

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The 2nd Annual Slam’d & Cam’d Car Show will take place Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Raising Cane’s River Center.

The show’s theme will be “Coolest Car Show of the Summer” and will feature 300 muscle cars, hot rods, classic cars and trucks from the Gulf Coast area.

Celebrity guests who plan to attend this all-indoor car show include actress and television host Courtney Hansen and Joe and Amanda Martin from the Iron Resurrection TV show, according to car show organizer Jim Fox.

Some of the proceeds of this year’s show will benefit local charities such as the LA National Guard Angel Tree, Racin4Vets, Bikers Against Child Abuse and Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach.

“Our goal with this event is to bring a world class car show to the city of Baton Rouge while supporting several important local charities,” Fox said. “This is a family friendly event for all ages and we expect to continue to grow each year into a major destination for car enthusiasts all over the country.”

People can buy tickets at the door. Adult tickets are $15, children’s tickets are $5 and children younger than 2 get in free.
