BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The coronavirus strikes again!
This time the Slam’d & Cam’d Car Show has been cancelled due to the fact that Louisiana is staying in phase 2.
The Raising Cane’s River Center shared this statement about the Slam’d & Cam’d Car Show:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the Slam’d and Cam’d Car Show scheduled to take place on July 11, 2020 has been cancelled.
On June 22, 2020, Governor John Bel Edwards announced that the state of Louisiana will remain under current Phase 2 restrictions for another 28 days.
We support the Governor’s decision and we have decided it is best to cancel the Second Annual Slam’d and Cam’d Car Show.
To that end, we want to provide flexibility as you think about your future plans. Below are two options for everyone who registered for this year’s show:
Option 1: Keep registration and have it apply to July 10, 2021 date.
This year’s car show completely sold out and we expect the same for next year’s date, especially with this year’s cancellation! Get a head start and transfer your registration over to the July 10, 2021 date.
Option 2: 100% refund for 2020 registration.
Under this option, you’ll receive a refund to the card you paid with. Please allow up to 2 weeks for refunds to begin being processed due to the high volume of refunds we are processing.
You can select your option at www.raisingcanesrivercenter.com/car-show-registration-form
Please fill out this form by September 30th. Anyone who has not answered by that date will automatically receive a refund.
