SLIDELL, La. (WDSU) —

The son of a fallen Slidell police officer went to his first day of school this week, and he did not go alone.

Maddox First Day

Maddox Seals, who is the youngest son of fallen Slidell Police Officer, Jason Seals (EOW: 11-17-18), started his first day of Kindergarten today! Chief Randy Fandal, and several Slidell police officers, went to Maddox's school in order to surprise him on his first day! It was the same school and front doors that Jason walked through in 1988! WOW! Maddox says he is most excited about "homework"! We shall see how long that lasts!
