Some Louisiana students head back to school in person Wednesday

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Several local school districts welcomed students back to school Wednesday amid the pandemic.

School leaders at Saint James Episcopal Day School in Baton Rouge say they have spent the summer
making sure students were safe when they came back to school.

Safety measures include social distancing, face masks and one-way hallways.

School leaders at Agape School also welcomed students back there.

Students got their temperature checked before entering the building.

One Mom whose children attend U-High says she is confident that her children are safe.
