BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Southern University System Foundation is asking the public to help with getting contributions for the universities.
The Million Dollar March campaign is a 90-day viral fundraising opportunity to urge students, alumni, and supporters to donate to continue to grow the universities in the Southern University System. Southern University’s campuses include Shreveport, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Southern University Law Center, and the Southern University Agricultural Research Center.
The virtual fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m. on June 1 on the school’s Facebook account.
In 2022, the Southern University Foundation raised over $16 million in student scholarships, research programs, grants, and campus beautification projects.
