BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Southern University Alumni Federation Home Chapter is hosting its ninth Annual Crawfish Boil and Music Festival ‘Buggin’ on the Bluff’ on Saturday, May 6 from noon until 6 p.m. on the lawn of the Mayberry Dining Hall at Southern University in Baton Rouge.  

Zydeco Musician Chris Ardoin will perform at the event along with the Human Jukebox band.

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the beautiful campus on Scott’s bluff. More than 800 alumni,  friends, and supporters  are expected to attend. Sponsorships are available. The event will also include a vendor fair market.  

“It’s a fun time for the whole family,” said Home Chapter President Brian Adams.  “A great time to get together to support our university and enjoy some good food and good music! The net proceeds will be dedicated to scholarships for deserving students.”
