Several people are coming together on Wednesday morning to announce a project to honor Miss Sadie Roberts-Joseph.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux and PASS (Professional Athletes Supporting Students) will host a news conference to announce the special project to honor the late Sadie Roberts-Joseph 

It’s at 9:30 a.m. at the Baton Rouge African American History Museum on S. Blvd. Roberts-Joseph founded the museum.

Roberts-Joseph was found in the truck of her car July 12. One of her tenants, Ronn Bell, has been arrested in connection to her death.

Since her death, community members and residents have shared an outpouring of love for her contributions in bringing the community together.

Roberts-Joseph was 75 years old.
