St. Amant community celebrates graduating seniors during parade

ST AMANT, La. (BRProud) – St Amant residents are celebrating what “is probably going to be the largest parade to ever go through the St. Amant community,” according to organizers.

The Gator Senior Parade is taking place on Wednesday morning and is said to contain almost 250 cars.

The caravan of cars is set to take off at 9:15 a.m. from St. Amant High School.

Parade route details can be found below:

  • Starting at the Freshman Academy bus lane
  • Turn right on to Hwy 431 from the bus lane, then turn left on Stringer Bridge, then right on George Lambert all the way to the Pit football stadium.
  • From there, the parade will cross over Hwy 429 and go into the Pit football stadium.
  • The parade will drive all around the Pit.
  • After that, the parade will exit out of the Triple S side of the campus and all cars will have to turn right out of the school towards the church.
