DESTREHAN, La. (WDSU) — The St. Charles Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing Destrehan woman.

Sheriff Greg Champagne said they are searching for Rebekah Anne Williams, a 43-year-old woman who lives with her boyfriend in Destrehan.

According to the sheriff, Williams was last seen Saturday morning. Later that day a note was found stating that she had left the home and would be back soon.

On Monday, Williams parents tried to visit her but were unable to contact her by phone or locate her, according to the sheriff.

After visiting her residence, they became concerned for her safety and contacted the sheriff’s office.

Williams boyfriend told detectives that she may be staying with a friend in the Ormond area, but he has not heard from her since Saturday, according to the sheriff.

Williams is described as a 43 year old woman with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, according to the sheriff.

Williams is described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds with a thin build and light skin complexion.

Anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call Detective Jennifer James of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-1135 or 985-783-6807.
