St. John the Baptist Parish, REV Broadband: to giveaway thousands of wrapping paper

LAPLACE La. (BRPROUD) – St. John the Baptist Parish is partnering with REV Broadband to bring holiday cheer to residents of river region communities impacted by Hurricane Ida on Monday, Dec. 13 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the St. John Community Center.

The gift-wrapping event is sponsored by Hallmark Channel.

Volunteers from St. John the Baptist Parish and REV Broadband will distribute thousands of rolls of premium wrapping paper to residents while supplies last, according to the press release,

“Thank you to RTC for all of their efforts and great partnership with Hallmark Channel to spread Christmas cheer in our community,” said Parish President Jaclyn Hotard. “Due to Hurricane Ida, Christmas may look different for many families in St. John and this generous donation of wrapping paper will help bring some normalcy back to the holiday season.”
