Getting rid of debt can be good for our brains.
That’s according to a study conducted by the University of Florida.
The study says it doesn’t just feel good to pay off debt, it can improve how your mind works.
The findings come from the Social Service Research Centre, which found that getting rid of debt can clear up cognitive functioning, lessens anxiety, and improves impulse control.
More Americans have credit card debt than any other country world-wide.
