Labor Day: Mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or two. Highs near 93° with feel-like temperatures creeping close to the triple digits mark.
Extended: Next 24 hours will consist of seasonal Louisiana weather with highs in the mid 90’s and a chance for afternoon storms. High pressure moves in Tuesday drying us out and cranking up the heat. Temperatures through Thursday will sit in the mid to upper 90’s with sunny skies and feel-like temperatures in the triple digits. With this in mind, it’s important to practice those heat safety tips. Our temperatures will drop back to our seasonal average by next weekend in the low 90’s with mostly sunny skies.
