PHOENIX, AZ. (KASW) – Target just challenged Amazon to a sale standoff when it announced that its new Deal Days will take place on the same days as Amazon’s Prime Days.
Target announced in a press release their new Deal Days event taking place on July 15-16 for a total of 48 hours. The sale allows everyone, even non-members, to shop to their hearts content all their home and apparel with same-day delivery and in-store pickup options. This follows their Target.com One-Day Sale which took place in July last year.
Target Deal Days offers include rarely-on-sale, exclusive home, apparel and toy brands, discounts on hundreds of thousands of items and new deals each day. These deals are on top of Target’s already low everyday prices and, as always, guests can take advantage of 5% off using their Target REDcards.
Amazon began its annual Prime Day in 2015 where it hosted huge sales in the month of July. This year, the online retailer decided to extend Prime Day to Prime Days with a 48-hour event. However, this sale is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. For more details, read Amazon’s press release.
Prime Day will be the biggest celebration of deals with limited-time offers, never-before-seen entertainment and exclusive launches online and in-store. Also, members will find the biggest Prime Day deals ever on Alexa-enabled devices.
