BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)– Slam’d & Cam’d the “Coolest” car show on the Gulf Coat

The “coolest” car show of the summer happened at the Raising Cane`s River Center on Saturday, July 9th. It’s the largest all-indoor show on the Gulf Coast.

According to Slam’d & Cam’d Show Promoter, Jim Fox, he was all too excited about how cool the event was. Fox says “car people love car shows, but when it’s so hot in July, you can’t go to the car shows, but Slam’d & Cam’d is in the air conditioning, so you’re the love of cars, car shows, in the airconditioning it can not be beat.”

The event featured over 300 muscle cars, classic cars, imports, exotics, rat rods, trucks, motorcycles, Slam`d & Cam`d vehicles of all kinds! More than $15 million dollars in world-class show cars from across the gulf coast.

According to the President of Baton Rouge Area Mustangers, Thad Landaiche, “It’s kind of in my blood I guess, and then I got introduced to Mustangers, and I like them, but I like all cars. I don’t hunt or fish but my hobby is cars.”

Many of the Car Enthusiasts were all checking out each and every car showing off who had the better ride. According to the owner of a 1983 Chevrolet Truck C-10, Alfred Jackson, he says that “When you see your truck and see what other people are doing, it makes you want to do more. One thing that is a big part, is you got to have a large wallet to play in in this big game.”
