Three in stable condition, two released from hospital after a shooting in Donaldsonville

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings that injured a total of five people on Friday night.

The shootings took place at 10:14 p.m. and another around 10:40 p.m.

There were five shooting victims ranging in age from 16 to 34.

Three of the shooting victims “are listed in stable condition and two have been treated and released from the hospital,” according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities do have leads that they are following in this case, but would still like input from the public.
