Three men break into a St. Francisville store, costing the owner thousands of dollars

“How? Why? What are these people thinking?”

A St. Francisville store owner is questioning why a group of men broke into his store.

“Thousands of dollars’ worth of product, inventory, money. Mainly phones, cash, and accessories” said Conrad Green, Owner of Phones MD.

Sunday morning, a camera snapped pictures showing the men forcing their way into this store. In the photos, you can see the three men in hoodies searching through the desk and taking items off the wall.

“Thieves walked into the store, taking thousands of dollars in products, but, what they didn’t realize, this camera captured the entire moment.”

Images from the break-in shows something Green said, is alarming.

“Seeing that one of the thieves had a knife was the first thing that came to mind. What if she was here, what if I was here. Wrong place, wrong time, it would be an entire different story.”

The tech store owner said, thefts like this makes it hard for small businesses to operate.

“Here I am, bootstrapped making a business, taking a big hit like this.”

He said, the three men took more than materialistic valuables.

“Consider the lives that you’re affecting, it’s not just stuff that you’re taking to make it yours. Its people lives that you’re directly impacting in a local community.”

Now, he’s ready to move forward.

“I’m looking at investing three to four thousand dollars of security features to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
