Tonight – Friday Morning: Storms will likely move into our area late tonight and overnight. Some storms may be strong or even severe. Damaging wind and small hail are the main concerns. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out, but the overall risk is low. Currently, the window of opportunity looks to be between 11 pm tonight and 7 am Friday, but storms could arrive earlier than that. Additionally, storms could redevelop by mid-morning as the front moves through. Make sure you have multiple ways to get warnings overnight and early Friday.


Friday Afternoon & Night: Clearing skies and hot. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees.
Weekend: A spotty shower or two on Saturday cannot be ruled out. Highs will be in the lower 90s, but it will be hotter on Mother’s Day. Highs will be in the lower and mid  90s, but it will feel like 100 degrees. Make sure you stay cool and hydrated!


Next Week: Ridge of high pressure will hold steady and keep us hot and dry. Highs in the mid 90s. Rain chances gradually return by late next week.
