BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – If you like bourbon, this event is for you.
On October 9, the Louisiana Bourbon Festival is coming to the Renaissance Hotel.
The first step on the journey to the festival happens on Thursday, June 17.
At 7 p.m., a launch event for ticket sales is happening at the SoLou Patio Restaurant, according to the Louisiana Bourbon Festival.
All of the money from this event is set to go towards Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area.
What that means is that these 10 parishes under the Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area umbrella are going to benefit from this event:
- East and West Baton Rouge
- East and West Feliciana
- Pointe Coupee
- St. Helena
David Steele, Baton Rouge Bourbon Society President and Louisiana Bourbon Festival Chair, notes, “The Louisiana Bourbon Festival is the single most exciting thing that we’ve endeavored to do. We’ve spent the last six years hosting events to bring the community together and raise much needed funds for those in need. We are hoping that LBF is the culmination of all our efforts. We can’t wait to share it with this community.”
