I-10 West on the Port Allen side is open and the damaged car has been removed from the Mississippi River Bridge.
Authorities are still working on taking the damaged moving truck off of the bridge, according to a witness.
Authorities are on the scene of two crashes on the Mississippi River Bridge.
BRPD says, “preliminary information is that we are responding to the west I-10 bridge regarnidg a multi-vehicle crash.”
One of the accidents involves an 18-wheeler.
These accidents are causing major delays so motorists should build extra time into their commute this morning.
The backup has reached College Dr.
As you can see below, I-10 West is not open due to these accidents.
