29-year-old Baton Rouge man dies in crash on I-110

UPDATE:

Kewin Walker Jr., of 3804 Elm Dr. was not wearing a seat belt when the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe he was travelling in went into a ditch on I-110 South.

Walker, Jr. was a passenger in the vehicle driven by a 43-year-old individual.

The 29-year-old died at the crash scene.

LSP said the crash occurred “around 7:15 a.m. on Interstate 110 (southbound) near Airline Hwy” on Monday.

The driver of the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe was wearing a seat belt and sustained moderate injuries.

The investigation into this crash remains ongoing.

One person has died and two others were injured in a crash on Monday.
