BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Capital area officials say a Wednesday (August 3) traffic incident has caused lane blockage and congestion on North Acadian Thruway at Iroquois Street.

The incident occurred around 7:17 p.m. and Baton Rouge Police are monitoring the scene.

Area drivers may want to use caution or take a different route.
