TURN AROUND: Road closures issued as areas begin to see high water

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Certain areas are known to have high water even with the slightest amount of rainfall.

According to Redstick Ready, here are some areas that are closed due to high water.

Highwater has been reported at Lanier/Oak View.

DPW drainage crews are working hard the next couple of days during the rain event; work they already do every day. The drainage system is flowing, but localized flash flooding will occur.
