Halloween costumes are created and the candy is purchased. Now it’s time for the Ghouls and Goblins of the Greater Baton Rouge to come and collect!

Trick-or-treat times across the area are set.

East Baton Rouge Parish will recognize trick-or-treating hours from 6-8 pm Tuesday night. Livingston, Ascension and Iberville Parishes will also observe the holiday activity from 6-8 pm.

Kids in West Baton Rouge Parish can begin a little earlier. They can start knocking on doors at 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm.

Firefighters ask that you stay out of roadways and remain on sidewalks.

A few safety tips include trick-or-treating with a parent or responsible party present. Keep a glow-stick, flashlight, or reflective tape on hand to help with visibility for motorists. Only approach houses that have the porch lights on.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!
