PLAQUEMINE, La. (BRPROUD) – A collaboration between two local agencies led to the arrest of Ashley Scales and David Jones.
The Iberville Parish Narcotics Division and West Baton Rouge Narcotics Division worked together to catch these two alleged drug dealers.
Intelligence from both law enforcement agencies led to the seizure of “approximately 1.65 grams of fentanyl and 8.86 grams of methamphetamine,” according to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The duo was arrested and their charges are listed below:
- Bench warrant for failure to appear on 3 counts Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II Narcotics
- Bench warrant for failure to appear on 1 count Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana
- Bench warrant for failure to appear on 1 count Illegal Possession of Firearm in Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substance
- 2 counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II Narcotics
Scales and Jones were booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center.
