Two arrests made in connection to apparent N. Sherwood Forest homicide and armed robbery

The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) arrested two people on Friday in connection to an Oct. 16 homicide on N. Sherwood Forest Drive in Baton Rouge.

Felisha Smith was arrested on charges of principal to first degree murder and armed robbery in connection to the death of Charles Arnold, 29.

Ronald Irvin, 51, was arrested and charged with first degree murder and armed robbery in relation to the same crime.

Arnold was found alive in his car at 2150 N. Sherwood Forest Drive on Oct. 16 around 2:20 p.m.

He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Both Smith and Irvin will be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
