UPDATE AS OF 3/20/19:
The 15-year-old Baton Rouge teen that is accused in the fatal shooting of local gospel singer Marshall Larkshas been indicted on second-degree murder charges.
The teen has been identified as Percy Heard, of 3003 S. River Road. The boys name had not been previously released.
UPDATE AS OF 2/22/19:
A 15-year-old male is in the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center in connection to the shooting death of a local gospel singer. He has been charged with first degree murder, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The shooting victim found in Spanish Town has been identified as 35-year-old Marshall Larks, of 9337 W. Jamaica Dr.
The Baton Rouge Police Department does not have any suspects or motives in this case.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after a dead body was found in Spanish Town Sunday morning.
Detectives found the body in the wooded area in the 1100 block of Spanish Town Road around 9 a.m.
Police say the victim was shot multiple times. The motive and suspect are unknown.
