BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a reported shooting overnight.

Detectives arrived in the 4700 block of Winbourne Ave. and found one shooting victim.

The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Emergency responders confirm the shooting took place around 2 a.m.

The investigation into this overnight shooting remains ongoing.
