BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking for the public’s help.
In the early hours of Monday, October 12, a local woman arrived at a residence located on Big Bend Ave. after working her shift at a local hospital.

The woman was met by a person with a gun who had been waiting for her to come home.
The woman tried to use her “vehicle keyfob to make the car alarm sound,” according to Custom Security Systems, Inc.
The intruder found no money and left the premises.
The Baton Rouge Police Department provided these details about the suspect:
- Black male
- Slim build, 5’7″
- Wearing a dark hoodie
