BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A homeowner is sharing videos of what is being called an ‘unforced entry’ in hopes of catching a suspect.

A suspect is seen in the video at a home in the Rolling Meadows subdivision between 2:55 a.m. and 3:25 a.m. on Monday, November 22.

The homeowner calls it “one of the most unsettling moments in my life,” because he along with other family members slept through the entire incident.

No one was hurt during this incident and the homeowner states that money and a Christmas present were taken from the home.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they are calling an ‘unforced entry.’

EBRSO confirms that $200 and “a gift from under the Christmas Tree was taken during this incident.

The home is located near the new Woman’s Hospital.
