INDONESIA, (BRPROUD) – “So I’m down a pair of sunglasses but up a very good story,” that is the subject of a viral video that currently sits at almost 45 million pageviews.

Lola Testu (@minorcrimes) posted this video to Tik Tok and it shows what happened after she accidently dropped her sunglasses in an orangutan enclosure.

The video starts off with the orangutan calmly walking towards the sunglasses and sitting before picking them up off the grass.

With baby orangutan on her lap, the adult orangutan opens the glasses and tries them on.

The video cuts to the two of them sitting on top of a rock.

The baby orangutan desperately wants to see the glasses but the adult is having none of it.

The older orangutan then tries the glasses on in different ways including upside down.

So did the orangutans give the glasses back?

The answer is yes, with a big heave from the top of a tree.

The reward for the orangutan was a leafy snack.
