Visiting hours with the family of the late UL head baseball coach Tony Robichaux, are today from 3-9 p.m. (rosary at 7 p.m.) at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette. Visitation continues on July 8 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on July 8 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Lafayette. Honorary pallbearers will be Robichaux’s coaching staff, as well as former and current UL players.
The Robichaux family released a statement which says, in part:
On behalf of the Robichaux family, we would like to take the opportunity to thank Lafayette General and Ochsner Hospitals for their amazing care and hospitality, as well as everyone in Ragin’ Cajun Nation for the community outpour of love, prayer and support.
Robichaux will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetary in Crowley.
Robichaux passed away July 3 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans due to complications from a recent heart attack.
