Walmart to participate in DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back event in Baton Rouge

Walmart will partner with local law enforcement to participate in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in select Baton Rouge area stores Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Participating local stores are the Walmarts on O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, on La. Highway 16 in Denham Springs and at 28270 Walker South Road in Walker.

More than 600 stores nationwide, including these, will host the event in which people can dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications with local law enforcement who will be set up in the stores’ parking lots.
