BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The national shortage of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) continues, and Acadian is trying to help fill the need with new training classes that begins next year.
“Our first class will start Jan. 8. It’s what we call our online hybrid model. Then we will be doing an accelerated class, which will start at the end of February,” said recruiter Brian Cowart. “We will have a number of other classes throughout the year, and hopefully that will help bring more people into the EMS industry.”
The deadline to apply for the next class is Jan. 2. Click here for more information.
